About
Despite the name, Java is not the old Typica of the Dutch East Indies. It came from Ethiopian seed grown on Java, was selected in Cameroon for resistance to coffee berry disease, and later reached Nicaragua, Panama and Costa Rica.
The trees are tall with bronze leaf tips and long beans. The cup sits between Gesha and Typica: floral and delicate.
